I am a mother of two and have worked in the health sector as a Registered Nurse for 13 years, nine years as an Emergency Nurse, having also undertaken a Bachelor of Naturopathy and Certificate III in Fitness. I have a strong work ethic in providing care to those in need and supporting people to achieve optimum well-being. I believe promoting good nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise with assistance of herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies and nutritional supplements can enhance those who strive to maintain a good quality of life. Treating and preventing disease processes using naturopathic practices allows people to take control of their outcomes. I incorporate these philosophies into my own life and that of my family believing in balance and consistency and there is always room for improvement. Compromises can be made and allowing us some room for exceptions to indulge, enjoy what life has to offer but maintain a focus on good health and nutrition.

As an experienced Nurse and Naturopath I believe there is room for both alternative therapies and orthodox medicine in your choice of treatment in health, they should be allowed to stand together and be accepted. Alternative methods are becoming widely used alongside western medicine, and are now finding a way in today's society with many positive outcomes in treating disease and improving your health. Ask yourself when you are unwell, can I see my Naturopath and try her treatment instead of rushing to the pharmacy with my prescription. Many people are well and truly overmedicated. I see it everyday day in the Emergency Department, do you really think you need this sleeping tablet? Have you tried aromatherapy, a relaxing herbal tea or a natural herbal product to induce sleep, even Bach Flower remedies? Or is it your night routine such as a heavy fatty meal and coffee before you go to bed? Do you need to constantly take Mylanta after every meal for your reflux, what are you eating to upset your stomach, is it an intolerance, have you tried some Slippery Elm powder of Aloe Vera juice in stead. Any doubts don't hesitate to contact Angela your Professional and experienced Naturopath for information and guidance.
